In June 2010, the center broght hundreds of students from public schools in New York, a program called care (Healthy Eating and Living in schools) in the historic Apollo Theater in Harlem. The center sponsors include GE, the New York City Council and the National Stroke Association. The event at the Apollo,Children are taught at different options to eat foods including the difference between a healthy or "Go foods' such as apples and unhealthy or" Whoa foods "as the pancakes.
